REDSKINS OPEN REGULAR SEASON ON SUN
Yes, another year of working at FedEx field continues this fall. Of course, you have all heard how important this work is to fund club operations. Many of our alumni and friends have supported the club's efforts with this work in the past, I hope many of you will do so again this year. Without this funding many of the clubs activites and ability to compete in the RSL would be in jepody. The funds created with this work also benefit individual workers by makling them eligible for dues discounts, travel benefits and other perks.

This Sunday marks a different sort of game...regular season home opener for the return of Joe Gibbs. The Redskins fans are ripe with expectations. A huge game, national television audience, stoked crowd, NFL execs, vending company execs and of course, a little battle between the 'Skins and the Bucs. We will need every available person to work this game. The gates will be opening early, so there will be a great chance to make a killing. Please email Stefan Hankin (stefan_hankin@yahoo.com) if you can help out on Sunday or any other game. Alumni, friends and family welcome! Remember, the club not only handles in seat beer vending but also manages a stationary beer stands and other vending stands. Help managing the operation is also welcome.

PAC WINS 2004 MARFU 7s CHAMPIONSHIP; FINISHES 6th IN THE NATION
NATIONAL 7s CHAMPIONSHIP
SFGG slipped past PAC in Plate Championship; MD Exiles finish runner-up in Bowl Championship; Riverside wins second straight 7s championship

PAC finished as #6 in the country after losing a tight Plate Championship match to San Francisco-Golden Gate 19-12. PAC was down at the start of the second half and battled back into contention but could not complete the turnaround. It was a great run for the PAC sevens squad and hopefully sows the seeds for continuing prosperity in the abbreviated code. Of the three recent PAC appearances in the National tournament over the last six years, this was PAC's highest finish, surpassing the 1998 finish at #8.

Riverside defeated the Denver Barbarians 38-19 for the 2004 National Championship and the second straight championship for the Southern California side. Riverside had defeated the Olympic Club 28-5 in one semi-final while Denver narrowly got past Aspen 15-14 in the other semi. Olympic Club won the consolation match 17-14. Fellow MARFU squad Maryland Exiles took Bowl Runner-up honors, falling to GrandRapids 19-7. MARFU finishes with teams in the 6th and 10th slots, as well as a team in the 13-16 grouping.

In the plate semifinals PAC blasted past OBMAC 31-14. San Francisco-Golden Gate defeated the Chicago Lions 21-7 in the other semi. PAC narrowly missed the Cup semis, losing in the last minute to a strong Aspen squad 12-7 in the quarterfinals.

In pool play, PAC had a very strong run and looked to be an in form squad heading into the second day of competition. In the first match of the weekend PAC defeated Old Blue 26 to 5. The second match was going to be the most difficult pool game of the day - Olympic Club was a pre-tourney favorite for the finals, and the hype was well earned. PAC lost a close match to Olympic after leading 12-7 midway into the second half. With three minutes left in the match Olympic intercepted an errant pass and converted for the go ahead try. The "O" Club added a late score to clinch, 19-12. PAC ran away from Washington 47-0 in thier third round match, securing a spot in the Quarterfinals.

PAC WINS MARFU SEVENS CHAMPIONSHIP
PAC defeated Washington 35-5 in the final, winning thier second MARFU sevens championship of the past 3 years. PAC defeated the MD Exiles 17-14 in the semis to reach the finals, tied Washington and defeated NOVA and Lehigh in pool play. In the past 6 years PAC has been in the MARFU Final Four more then any other team, with 3 appearances in the final.
