WASHINGTON, DC: The 26th annual PAC 77s tournament was one of the biggest on record. The event featured 45 teams in six brackets (Menns premier, Menns Open, Menns Social, Womenns Premier, Womenns Open and Boyys U-19) of seven-a-side rugby, plus over 150 kids from multiple Washington, DC area clubs participating in youth non-contact rugby for ages 5 to 15. The tournament was held just outside of Washington, DC at the Mitchellville Road Soccer Fields, in the City of Bowie, Maryland under partially cloudy skies and the usual warm and humid June temperatures.

NOVAAs top team took home the cup in the 10 team Menns Premier Division. NOVA won all four pool games defeating Baltimore-Chesapeake, Philadelphia-Whitemarsh, Alexandria Blue, as well as the Kenyan Exiles. Gorge handily defeated Team Zippy (PAC Alumni) in the finals, after defeating Georgetown Prep Alumni, and the Grizzly Mints in the playoffs. Zippy made it to the finals after defeating Pax River and Gonzaga Alumni. The Richmond Lions took home the Plate while Washington Irish II took home the Bowl.
