RE: Dues and Redskins schedule for Fall 2007 and Spring 2008
The dues schedule for the Fall of 2007 and Spring of 2008 will be as follows:
Dues:
Dues from September 1, 2007, will be $15.45 per month. All players will furnish the club with a credit card or debit card that will be entered into PayPal, and will be automatically deducted each month. Dues will be the same for all players, regardless of how long you have been with the club. Total dues for the year will be $185.40. New players joining the club will be given a two (2) week grace period, where they can decide on whether or not they want to become a club member. Players also have the option of paying up front for the year. If a player chooses to pay upfront then either a check for $180 must be paid by September 1 or a one time charge of $185.40 will be charged each September as long as they are an active member. Membership will be a minimum of 6 months for the spring and 6 months for the fall.
Redskins requirement:
In addition to dues, every player must work at least two (2) redskins games. A schedule will be made prior to the season and everyone will be assigned two games. If a player can not make a game they are assigned, they can send a fill-in. If their fill-in is a PAC player, that player will not get credit for working that game, just the player they are filling in for.
There will be a fine of $200 for each assigned game missed. Obviously players are encouraged to work as many games as they can. If players so choose, they can opt out of the Redskins requirement and pay $46.35 per month. However any player who does not opt out will be required to work a minimum of two games or pay the $200 per game missed fine.
In order to get credit for a game a seller must sell at least 4 cases of beer. If a seller shows up in the room before the gates open (2 hours before kickoff), starts selling beer before the gates open and sells until the end of the third quarter, the player will get credit for a game worked regardless of the amount of beer sold. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
Redskins discount:
Players will no longer receive a per-game discount. Instead players will earn the seller's percent (6.5%) of their sales after taxes. This money will be put into a personal account that the player can spend on rugby related items with the club (travel, shorts, socks, warm-ups etc). Players who work more than 5 games also have the option of receiving up to $185.40 in a check to pay for their next year dues. Guest sales will also be credited to a players account using the same formula as last year (2% of sales).
Beer this year will be $8/each a seller will receive the following amounts in their personal account:
